what is the cheapest eaiest way to put hubs on a D44hd that originally was used in a quadratrac system?

would chevy discs with hubs work? willthe axle shafts be long enough to reach the hub?

how do hubs bolt to the disc when it has no provisions to do so?

Chevy Hubs and rotors will swap, no problem at all. If you want to install part time hubs in the full time setup you now have, all you need to do is pop off the Hub Covers, remove the large and small snap rings, pull out the drive flange and spring as well as the Spring cup. You can see that here, the fulltime setup (though the large snap ring is not shown in this diagram)

This pic shows the large snap ring that my FSM pic does not show. This snap ring will be in your axle

I have come across axles that do not use that snap ring.
