Exclamation

Well I got a lot doen this weekend on the Heep for once in over a year. Unfortunately, at the same time I got a does of the bad. My Duty just blew the pressure plate out and now i have to spend $800 to fix it, so all new parts will not be gotten till WAAAYYY later. Here's a list of all the stuff I got accomplished:

1) Me and my other half completed a successful twin stick of the 205

2) The hydraulic steering box was put into place and the stocker taken out

3) The flywheel, clutch and pressure plate were installed and torqued to spec

4) I got the bracket for the A/C pump installed and ready for the compressor

5) Got the front 60 under the frotn springs and ready for u-bolts and plates

6) Got the 14bolt onto hjackstands under the rear ready for disc brake conversion

Some of the pics are on our website (http://www.rebelrockrunners.org/cgi-...num=1089603990) . They're freakin' huge so view at your own risk!

Wow you did get a lot done. Is the 205 a divorced case? I was in Haiti when you got it, I think.

Ton of progress (pun intended). Can't wait to see you on the trail... of course, I don't think we'll be on the same trails anymore... Maybe I should say: Can't wait to see you at Crawford's before and after the trail...

Thanks for all the compliments guys. the 205 in question is married to the 465. this was the easiest upgrade ever. my g/f read the directions and said, "i can do this," and she did! btw, she has no clue about trucks but i'm working on that. next step will be to find more funds to complete the 14 disc set up ($300) and get a set of springs for the rear. then it's onto wheels and tires and blah and blah and blah.

Thumbs up

Ya gotta love a gal who does not mind a little grease under her fingernails. Sounds like she is a keeper.
