Massachusetts based event. I went last year. Great turnout, good time, TONS of Jeeps!!
NAME OF EVENT: The Great American Jeep Rally
DATE OF EVENT: Sunday, September 29, 2002
HOURS: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
LOCATION: 575 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA (on Route 20)
DESCRIPTIONS OF EVENT: The Baystate Jeepers, Inc. proudly presents
its second annual Great American Jeep Rally to support the NorthEast
Association of 4WD Clubs and to raise money for local charities!
This event will be held again at the Hebert’s Candy Mansion on Sunday,
September 29, 2002 in conjunction with the Spirit of Shrewsbury celebration.
The Rally was such a success last year that the Baystate Jeepers were in demand
to return with another one. This event is similar to the ever popular "cruise nights"
at the Mansion, but it is limited to strictly Jeeps. Any Jeep, to include: off-highway,
stock, military restorations, antiques, monster Jeeps, and so on, may be entered.
The NEA4WDC is dedicated in helping the cause for outdoor recreationalists.
This association is involved with the management of our public lands to keep them
open to the public and clean.
The Great American Jeep Rally 2002 is proud to help support these worthy causes!
ADMISSION: Public is invited to view “Free”, and a suggested donation of $5.00
(or more) for display vehicles.
ORGANIZATIONS: Baystate Jeepers, Inc., NorthEast Association of 4WD
Clubs and the Hebert Candy Mansion.
INFORMATIONAL WEBSITES: www.baystatejeepers.com, www.nea4wd.org and

For you, it's basically the Mass Pike (I-90) East to the exit to Rt.146 South (don't know the number for that one off-hand, but it's just past Worcester), then take that to Route 20 East, and follow Rt. 20 East a few miles to Hebert's Candy's on your right-hand side.
It's really a great show; we could put up a good FSJ showing this year. Last year it was just me and a really nice lifted Cherokee Laredo on 35's representing the full-size crowd.

Ouray was never even an option for me, but I think I might be able to make this one! : )

I was there briefly in my CJ last year (before I owned a GW) Future in-laws were in town and I couldn't stay, but it seemed a pretty good meet, but sorely lacking in FSJ's.
Would be great to see a good showing this year.
I'm in.

I was there last year in my scrambler but it would be nice to have more FSJs, that's why I wanted to post it here. Might also be a good chance to do some parts swapping. I picked up a few things last years, some shops set up booths and there are some area clubs also. Also if you use the address above maybe you can find directions with mapquest or sometihng. I last year I just took rt9 to rt20 coming east.

Heh,
for those of you with GPS, I made a Waypoint there last year.
The Hebert Candy Mansion is at
N 42°15'39.1"
W 71°41'48.3"
So now you can just straight-line to it!

Now if I could just get the engine changed in the Cherokee and drive that instead....With three jeeps in the driveway (and someone trying to give me a free Postal Jeep) I should be able to find something to drive

Well, I think there was an "ugliest jeep" contest along with some other categories so don't let a not so nice jeep deter you. In fact the contest should be incentive to go
Well, I finished new lifters, rods, rockers and valley pan today so I have NO MORE TOPEND TICKING!!!
We should all park in the same area to have a FSJ section.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all there ina week.

Yeah, it's the same as what Bob said above for NY.
Or just take the pike and listen for my ticking lifters!
You can try mapquest directions for the address listed above also if you like.
