I'm new at this and Im looking for a wagoneer. Would like to have a early 70's but Im finding more late 70's than the earlier ones. But anyways Im trying to find out what itll take to put an early model wagoneer grill in a late 70's wagoneer. I love the look of the lights by thereselves and the big grill in the middle.

Thank you

Mjr., what you are referring to is called a Rhino Grille. Some also call it a Gladiator Grille, as that is what it came stock on. To do a conversion, you need to get the grille, the headlight trim rings, and the center vents to cover the interior set of holes between the lights and the grille. To mount it, you need to do a little modification. But, from what I understand, if you have the tranny cooler & A/C condenser, you'll need to do a little more fabbing, as it won't fit. I haven't done this mod myself, so there may be more info / not as much required. Do a search in the FSJ general tech section and use Rhino Conversion as your keywords. That should bring up a wealth of info. Good luck!

Thank you Very Much

Anyone know of a price range of a good mid 70's wagoneer restored fairly well? Looking for one to daily drive and pull my Rock Crawler 1ton wrangler.

Thank you

Check the Gen Disc forum for a thread called "what's it worth" by agonee. He's selling one in CA that looks to be in pretty good shape. Higher price than a usual 70's era Wag but he seems to have kept it up well plus a few improvements.
