i finnally found that yes the mopar kit does use a factory CPS. now all i want to figure out is a few measurment for the bracket as I dont plan to give chrysler $97cdn for something I can build in some free time at work that wont cost me anything other than time. this is the best pic I could find of the bracket http://www.off-road.com/jeep/tech/mpi/17.jpg

I need to figure out if the distance from the bolting surface on the oil pan to the flat surface on the bracket that the sensor bolts to is important or not. in the picture it looks like this distance is basically enough to clear the stiffening flange on the oil pan. anybody have any thoughts? seeing as its that close to the oil pan I figure as long as its close it wont to wrong. and maybe i'll get creative and build pivoting bracket to give the adjustable timing some people may want and maybe even see if there would be any interest for limeted production.
