When you go to replace them clean up the contact surfaces of the exhaust ports and the exhaust manifolds, free of oil and other contaminates. As far as kind of gaskets, I have no idea which is better.

I used Fel-Pro on mine. I took the exhaust manifolds off, wire wheeled them.I scraped off crusty crap from the block w/ a good sharp chisle.
I then installed them back on w/ all the bolt and left about a 3/8" gap between block and maniflod.I slipped the new gaskets in and torqued the bolts down,The Fel-Pro gaskets do not have bolt holes to fight while lineing every thing else up. They are hook shape at each end to hang'em on the bolts.Oh yes,a good can of penatrating oil will be your best friend, soak'em then wait 10min or so,then soak'em down agian.

I had the same problem on mine on the drivers side manifold. I had the manifold surfaced and put in new bolts etc..... and still blew out 3 gaskets untill someone here on the board suggested Copper gaskets. They were a little pricey (around $50 I think) but they solved the problem.
