I'm going to rebuild my 360 soon and I wanted to know if anyone knows what I need to do in order to make a 401 crank fit into the 360 in order to make a stroker engine? Also, does anyone know if I need to have custom made pistons and have the 401 connecting rods shortened since you cannot use the 360 connecting rods. If anyone can help me with this delema, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, I know a little about it..

Use 401 crank, 360 rods and Chevy 400 pistons to make yourself a 393 stroker.

How to get the 400 pistons on a 360 rod is something I haven't found out yet. www.froadin.com has a little bit of info on this particular matter, but if you e-mail him, I'm sure he'll give you a detailed explanation on how it works.. share it with us when you get it!

I was going to do this exact thing, but the rest of the 401 I got is in too good of shape to butcher, so I'm gonna run the whole motor!
