I have several leaks from my car right now. The transmission fluid is leaking, the radiator is leaking, and there could be more. The problem is that I park my car on the street and the street is starting to look like an auto shop floor. The car is running, and at this point I do not expect to fix these problems unitl spring. How can I keep the fluids off of the street? I can use a piece of carboard when its not raining or snowing, but does anyone have any better ideas?

Thanks.

At some shops I've been to they use these mats; they absorb the liquids VERY well and have a sticky-backing to adhere to the floor. Don't have a clue where to get them though!

I bought a aluminum drip pan at the local auto parts store like this www.partsamerica.com item # 11430

It's heavy enough that it doesn't blow away, and wipes up easy. Makes ID'ing those fluids easier.

I use the same aluminum pan. On cleanup, I typically throw some oil dry on the pan after draining it to get the bulk of the residue then wipe it down. Works great. Walmart has big ones that will go from rail to rail (catches all the tranny fluid from my crossmember). Autozone has some smaller ones.
