Cruise Control Speed Sensor

Any hints on changing a cruise control speed sensor on an '87 GW? It's below the master cylinder. Disconnect speedometer cable at transmission and pull up?
Any source for one? Labelled 590-02577. 6 Pulses per Revolution. REV A

it just unscrews from 2 different speedo cables and unplug the wiring connector.
FSJ is 8pulse and afaik unobtanium new for many years.
