    Steering wheel fitment

    I found a nice steering wheel on eBay listed for a 84-96 Wrangler, Cherokee. Not sure if it would work for me...
    What years and models of stock Jeep steering wheels would fit for my 72 jtruck?
    1982 Wagoneer w/258, Rusty's 4in spring lift, motorcraft 2100, 32x11.5x15 bfg's *sold*

    1972 J4000 Chevy 350, th350, divorced Dana 20, Holley carb, alcan 4in springs, 35in BFGs on 15in slots

    1978 J10 golden eagle w/Levis interior, 401and th400, Edelbrock avs2, 32x11.5 falken rubitreks on stock golden eagle wheels

    I've got a '94 XJ steering column/wheel in my garage next to my '83 column/wheel right now. I can take a look in the next day or two and let you know if those two swap, if no one else replies. Unfortunately, I do not know if the '72 column is the same as the later columns or not.

        Sorry it took so long, but I finally got some time to play with the steering columns. I had no trouble taking the wheel from my '83 and putting it on the XJ column.

        Don't know if that will help you much or not.
