I wimped-out and did it the easy-ish way with a setup from customefis.com. With new injectors, knock sensor, welding in the O2 bung, etc, etc, it cost around 1200 bucks. Best thing I've done to the silly olde Jeep, by far. It starts instantly, pulls strong on less gas, and finally, FINALLY!, runs nearly the same at 13,000' as at 0.

lets see...... 330 for the tbi, 130 for the 4bbl intake, 130 for the closed-loop kit = 590. not too bad.

the holley 2bbl efi is made to mount up to a 4bbl square bore intake. either that or use an adapter. but you might as well go for the 4bbl performance boost.
yes, everything was used, from ebay. i did eventually have to replace the throttle position sensor (a weak point on the holleys), and a co-worker gave me a used 4-wire O2 sensor from his honda, which i wired into the holley 3-wire system a few weeks ago. works great.
