Hi, my name is Blake and I have a problem

Drug home a 1970 Gladiator J3000. Bought from the son of the original owner.

I'm waiting for the towing company to bring it home (should be within the hour....)

This makes 4 FSJ's.

Awesome, nice score!!! Looks like it even has the original floor mats? WOW!!!

No matter what you do to this truck, you HAVE to keep the 'speed holes' in the air cleaner

PS I have the same amc/Jeep badge on the same spot on the glove compartment on my '79 Honcho!!! I glued it on there when i was 16 or so

I dunno what the plan is for this one... It was too good of a deal, plus, I saved it from the scrap yard, as they were scheduled to come get it tomorrow.

The guy seemed really sincere and was actually pretty heartbroken to see it go. He said he drove it as a new truck in high school. He also said it that it really does have 15k miles....

I am sorry I don't see any kind of problem. Now if you have to start looking for a bigger lot or you search google earth and you can see your collection from space then you might have a slight problem. Great looking rig for it's age!

Looks like a early sixty's Ford pick up in the back ground in the 2nd picture is that what your talking about Sean?

no he is talking bout that brow! Love mid 60's f100's too though!!

How the heck does that have 15k miles? They must of beat it 10 times as hard. This really blows my mind how poorly that truck must have been treated. So it only had, what, 4-5 oil changes? Original tires?

His family bought it new then beat it hard pulling heavy trailers and custom metal. They are blacksmiths and make stuff for peoples houses all through the mountains of Colorado.

I agree, it was beat hard.

But it sure looks all original...

The tires are half the reason I bought it. They are all in great shape.

^^ Me on both counts.
Realizing you have a problem is a waste of time. Hiding your bilfold works better.

Very rare specimen, 8 lug axles and it even looks to still have the factory Buick fan shroud still intact.
