Get some DNA samples, something bad happened there.

You've completly rimracked that poor wag inside and out. I've had my 89 filled with deer to the roof and have an 8 pointer in the drivers seat oozing out the holes and it never got like that. Might have to do with oxblood carpet. Whats your secret? Deer go in my pick ups now due to ticks and new interior.

All the mess was due to a front axle I put in there. I don't have a place to store parts except in the back of the Jeep. All of that is gear oil.
A replacement carpet is in the plans... Along with an oil mat

Your carpet is trashed but you keep the gas can in a box?
Definitely don't want that grease getting on the gas can!

Years ago, my dad had a 79 Pinto wagon and took it to a shop to get some work done. When he went to pick it up, he found out they had used his car to take a transmission to a transmission shop to get rebuilt. It had gear oil in it and they spilled it, similar to your mishap. He never got that smell out of that car.
