Brake parts

I'm planning to rebuild the brakes on my '76 soon. But I'm not sure where to get the parts. I see Team Wagoneer has a kit with all the springs and retainers and such. Has anybody used this kit? Or would one of the local shops have everything? Napa and O'Reilly have both surprised me with the stuff they can get. I'd prefer to replace everything while I'm doing it. No need in reusing worn out parts. Figured I'd ask here and see where folks are getting their brake parts.

Trailers belong behind trucks, not under them.

Why? Because nobody in the history of 'wheeling has ever said, "good thing I put those smaller tires on my rig."

I used the Oreilly parts and it had everything i needed. Every old spring and retainer and whatever else was replaced. The Oreilly kit will work just fine for you

I've not used the TGW kit myself, so I can't say anything about it. I have used Napa, Advance, Auto Zone, etc. locally for parts with no issues. We use mostly Napa and Auto Value for brake parts at work. Most of the parts houses carry reputable brands(you can usually tell who makes the house brands biased on part numbers) for this kind of stuff. RockAuto also has good brands at good prices, and I've noticed that the chains(at least here locally) are price matching them and/or their own internet price. I saved $30 on a starter that way with Advance a few weeks back, it was that much higher in the store vs. the online price.

Guess I'll go with O'Reilly then. It's barely a mile from the house. And it's my favorite anyhow. I just didn't know if they would carry everything.
