i can almost taste the '75 Wagoneer....

I've been waiting to pick this up for a while now and hopefully tomorrow will be the day!
The PO is an off road legend (they still have articles about him in the popular 4x4 magazines) and has done some really cool things to this Jeep, like:
-an aux 20 gal tank (total 40 gal capacity)
-aux cooling fan
-OD Qtrac chain
-razor grill
-cherokee bucket seats
-swing away sparetire/ jerry can rack
-inside sparetire, and on and on!

Im so psyched!!! this was his dd and for the last 20 years ive admired it parked infront of his shop.

I cant wait to make some wild journeys in the desert with this thing!!

Tick tock!!!

I worked a 13 hour day today and the shop where the Wagoneer is kept was already closed when i went by to pick it up!

First thing in the morning i am picking up the Green Bastard, from Parts Unknown

Since im not working tomorrow i plan on taking my daughter to school in the '91 Grand and picking her up in the '75. My dad used to do that to me when i was a kid, it always made the first ride in the vehicle that much more special.

Pics tomorrow!

Mine doesn't taste that great... mostly like Colorado and Texas dirt. and wear safety glasses, 'cause not all of it lands in your mouth. Some cotton in your ears helps when you jerk your head away too.

Is it yellow or green?
And who is the racing legend?
I would also love to see the VIN plate in the engine compartment.

Almost looks like my Transit yellow waggy that Brian Chuchua used to own, only a few years older

Very nice though!

my camera sucks. it has dust stuck in the lens and tends to focus on that and not of what im taking a picture. But i will get a pic of the tag tomorrow!

I believe the color is Green Apple.

the hood has been repainted at some point, as there is less oxidation than the rest of it. but i pulled up the carpet in the cargo area and everything is the same color. Im going to see if i can buff some shine real soon!

Just in case I missed the obvious, you bought it from Pewe? I think 75 was the only year for that color. Here is one in the Custom trim:

Lol, not Pewe. Jim Huff of Hyteck 4x4. He used to race Baja in a sweet sweet CJ6. His CJ6 is actually up for sale, it still meets specs for the vintage class.

WOW!

I LUV that color!

I used to have a bright green 914 that was close to that color. We called that car frog, and I still miss that car.
I think it was mainly the color that made it so cool.

Hurry and get better pictures of your jeep!
