Sadly I had to settle for sawzalling a couple walls out of a house.

That's a very good question! Riga Dust off was mentioned as a meet and greet and a Z&M day. But so far nothing solid.

Any ideas?

We can camp out here.... Work on the Jeeps during the day and cook steaks all night. If you want the woodsy feel then jump my back fence and go stake out a spot. Probably not a good idea to make a fire up there at night though. I can get a burn permit for here and build a fire out back.

May 13th I think I'm going to try and surprise Mom in FL. Other than that this weekend I go back into Jeep mode here now that I am Zoning compliant. I need to get my Honcho here and tucked into the garage. That is going to take a few guys and a pusher truck.

If it is a rainy weekend then I can always find floor space in the house. All my Jeep work will be indoors in the garage anyways.
Got a set of axles to clean up replace all bearings and seals, all new brake components and a set of rear disc to be put on. Axles are not installed on truck yet, just in the bed waiting.
Whole front doghouse needs cleaned and painted while the motor is out(which will be pulled as soon as it gets here in the garage). Have all new and or reconditioned stuff to install in the engine bay before new motor is installed.
Got a tilt wheel column to install(in both trucks actually).

Anyone know their way through a TH400. Got one I'd like to put new seals at least in and use it in the Honcho. It was supposedly rebuilt and never ran to do previous owner having a heart attack and checking out early. I have a NOS tailshaft that I thought about installing just because it is being mated to the NOS Quadra-trac.
I have a NOS Quadra-trac case to open up and put new seals in as well.

Lots of other stuff do do as well.

Or we can go camping. As long as it is local(within 100-150 miles) I'm in, otherwise I'll be here wrenching on a Jeep.

Camping in your backyard? That should torque the neighbors off.

Seriously, do you know of any state parks in southeastern Indiana or southwestern Ohio?

n ky

I mostly know ky campgrounds, but in northern ky there are Big Bone Lick (62 sites) (no - seriously) and Blue Lick (51 sites) state parks. Big bone lick is between Florence and Cincy on I75 and Blue Licks is on 25 between Carlisle and Flemingsburg. Both nice with campgrounds and fairly equidistant from lex, e ky & southern OH. Not that we haven't done KY yet though...

I have one of those dvds somewhere myself.

I've never camped at the camp grounds before but have been to the park many times. When we camped out there it was always down the road at the boat dock area which is now separate from the park. It's down about 8 miles from the park itself and there were no campground nazi's to keep us quiet. After the big flood a couple of years ago, I'm not sure if it is even open there anymore. I know the guy that was leasing it gave up and moved on. My boss used to keep his boat there but since the flood has moved it down to Warsaw,KY.

From what you are saying, this is a viable candidate for our next Meet/Greet?

Since we are looking for places to go, shouldn't we try to settle on a date when everyone can participate?

I'd love to go camping again, and that area is a good couple hours closer to me than Lexington.

If I get a chance I'll go down there and get some recon pics. I found out tonight at work the camp ground down at the boat ramp is open again. It is more primitive than at the State Park campground. It is also known for being able to have a late night fire talk and BIG fires, or at least a decade ago it still was. You can also camp right on the rivers bank(back waters). If you look to the west of the park boundary you'll see route 1925. The boat dock is where it ends in the water, literally.
