A case for Rihnolining the inside of your FSJ
So, it is a gorgeous Spring day here in Boise and my son and I decided to take the dogs for a run and a short drive in the GW. After letting the hounds run and bouncing around on some dirt roads we were heading home when we heard a sloshing noise from the back seat. I looked back to see our "Australian Boxer Hound" depositing about a gallon of puke on the back seat and floor.
My EDC bag, a pair of gloves, a hat and a note book all were plastered with it.
I pulled over and covered it with an old blanket, to keep the dogs from spreading it more, and then boogied home. Kicked the dogs out and got to the car wash to carpet clean everything.
Seriously considering lining the floors. Could have sloshed a gallon of water on it and gotten 90% of the mess out right there.
Anyone know of a good neoprene seat cover set for the Waggy?

Same here, it is cheap enough that I am also using it to coat the under side of my floor boards and fire wall since they will be clear for awhile to come....should reduce the road noise quite a bit as well. As for neoprene seat covers, check out rugged ridge seat covers. Kinda spendy but worth it.

I'm in the process of taking the carpet out of mine and plan on lining the floor pans. I'm looking for some advice/pics of what was done with the wires running back the floor on the driver and passenger sides.

Why not just lose the carpet. Scratched up factory paint is easy to clean/hose off and looks better than bed liner goop. Heck sans smell doggie barf looks better than bed liner goop.

Just got done ripping out all the carpet, front and back. It was holding moisture causing some rust. Plan on painting it black, keeping the smooth surface, easier to clean than a rough surface. Looking for set covers also.....

FSJ Guy, Is there any other way to drive?
What kind of road noise would you get sans carpet?
here is the culprit:

looks innocent, don't she.

The auto body supply place on Overland sells U-Pol Raptor liner. I plan to do the inside of my cab and bed with this stuff:

I haven't tried it yet but a friend has had really good things to say about Lizard Skin lining. It supposed to be really good at noise dampening, is tintable, and has ceramic stuff in the mix to block out heat (enough so that he had trouble welding to the undersidebecause it was dissipating the heat too quickly to get a good weld without stripping the stuff of of the other side!) Anyway, figured I'd give it a try soon. I'll report back when the job is done.

I vote for Monsta Liner. They give a discount to Jeepforum members, and since it can be rolled on (or sprayed on), it can go on thicker than Raptor liner. You can also get it in a few different colors.

Cabela's has some inexpensive PVC seat covers - universal fit
I have them in Gozo that I use for duck hunting, 2 wet muddy dogs can coat and interior pretty fast, just let the mud dry and brush it off.
I throw a seat towel on then when I am in good clothes.
I went with a rubber mat and bedlined panels in the rear, have not got to the front yet.
I had 1 dog loose it after eating a gut pile from a deer - then I about lost it, but the PVC seat cover kept it from soaking in, so after removing the pile a damp sponge and some lysol and all was good.

Durabak makes a grit free bedliner product. If I were to do the inside of my truck, I would use that. Grit free will make cleaning up puke and mud easier. My whole rig is done in this stuff. Cleaning it is a bit of a challenge.

I'm running mine up the dash, and hidden behind the headliner.

I did mine I used a gallon for the floor area and firewall. Took out the seats and poured it on the roller it out.
The PO had removed all of the carpets so it was noisy and the floor got hot. Much quieter now and the floor isnt getting hot.
I am going to put another gallon on the in the back as my Cherokee is my supply hauler our place on the mountian and I took out the rear seat.
Where can i buy a formed rubber floor mat? As I drive on dirt roads then tromp around in the dirt carpet won't work.
Thanks
