I need a good 360 oilpan
I am in need of a good oilpan for a 360. By good I mean straight rails and most importantly good plug. i picked up another Wag a while ago and the PO had stripped the plug threads.
Thanks
Ralph

You know there may be other reasons that you just WANT to pull this pan (fix oil leaks, rear main seal, etc...) however, there are several fixes out there for stripped oil pans.... expanding rubber plugs, oversized self tapping magnetic plugs. They may not be pretty, but I have had some that worked for years. Most good parts guy should be able to lead you to one that will negate your need to drop the pan.
Good luck, either way!

Looks like Bob can help you Ralph. Too bad you don't need one for a 401 because we have a couple those.

I don't know what jeep you are fitting it to but beware if you have a driver drop front axle.

On the 81 and newer models, there is an indentation in the oil pan for front diff clearance. If you wheel it, you'll want the right one.
