401 heads

Is this a good deal? Are they even worth buying?

If they are '74 heads they aren't anything special.....same as 360 heads.

You may want to ask for casting numbers just in case they aren't '74's. The '70 & early '71 heads had the smaller chambers.

Still, it's not a bad price if you need them. X2 on casting #'s to make sure they're not the small chamber ones. Otherwise, they're pretty much the same, AFAIK.

While it is true that 360 and 401s share the same heads, I thought the 74 casting number xxx502 bridged rocker heads were supposed to be a good head that was better than some of the other later bridged heads. Either case, $50.00 for a spare set heads is not a bad price.
