Doesn't say anything about NOS, says it was bought new a few years ago. It looks like the same cherry oak that BJ's sells.

Make sure its for a grand wagoneer, and not an XJ wagoneer.

The gauges look 70's, maybe the wood paper is for the 70's era waggy's with the paper between the chrome on the side

He does describe it as "3M" - "bought new a couple of years ago" although they stopped making the OEM stuff more than a couple of years ago apparently.

One would need to do is ask him to show a picture of the backing paper, it should say "3M di-noc" all over it, but then that wouldnt absolutely confirm if it were original either as 3M still make other di-noc vinyls to this day.

there's a heap of it there - he says its starting at less than half of what he paid for it & i paid a lot more than that for a 9m roll of NOS marine teak Di-noc.

Just ask him for a "Verbal Guarantee".........
That's what the sales guy at the dealership said when we bought the waggy.
Quote:
She'll make it home......."I guarantee it".

As she bleed coolant and antifreeze in the street for a week.
God bless his heart......

And here comes the result:

Just want to give you guys an update as I could win this auction :

It is finest "cherry oak" and it is the original 3M Di Noc stuff.
Only "marine teak" could have increased my excitement...

But see (left marine teak / right cherry oak):

There is just a small difference in the color tone.
Marine teak looks like bleached.
The woodgrain is absolutely the same.

Knock on wood,

Gunnar
