dana 20 transfer case fit???

I have a lead on a dana 20 xfer case that was bolted to a TF727. I have 1989 GW with the TF727. Will the dana 20 swap in place of my stock xfer case very eaisily? Any input would be great!

I doubt its a d20, probably a d300. They look similar and could easily be confused. A d300 will bolt right up to a 727, but it will be pass side o/p for front axle. You can flip it with some minor mods.

A d20 isn't going to bolt up without adapters. Even then, most d20's are also pass side o/p for front.

Might be from a Scout. If so, It'll have the texas pattern which won't match your 727.

There are baby Jeep D300s that came behind the TF999, but never the 727.

Both of these drop on the wrong side for your Wagoneer. You can use them if you swap to a passenger drop front axle. Even then, you'll have clearance issues.
