Phoebe Too progress

We got to spend a couple days tinkering with P2 last week. Casey has been making some progress with paint prep. She got new shoes and the RR axle bearing was R&R'd. Front poly bushings installed. Fixed a ground to the fuel sender.

The interesting work was skinning the tan bucket seats and replacing them with matching skins for the black interior. We picked up the seat covers from a member parting a 77 Wag in Texas. The driver seat frame was broken so it got welded up by the barbarians. The wires were rusted pretty bad inside the black covers so they were pulled from the tan covers. Bob has done this a few times and had the hog nose pliers and a cup full of rings ready the second day for assembly. We were all very pleased with how they turned out.

The black vinyl had Chrysler Pentastars printed on the back side. From a 77 AMC Jeep... more leftovers I take it?

Nice! Where did you get the bushings?

The bushings are poly and from BJs. They may have changed the kit since we purchased them. The kit had all identical bushings but the front clip is different. Brent sent us the front ones later when he located the correct ones.

Here I am in May setting the other new bushings when the body was swapped.
