Pulling fan wheel off motor...

Does anyone have any idea on how to pull the fan wheel off the fan motor? I'm using enough force that it's about to break the plastic.

Any ideas?

Spray some penetrating oil down the shaft and start working on it.

It tok a while... It finally gave, plus I cracked part of the wheel. Now I just need to find a new resistor.

The parts guy at my local shop told me that it's the 'relay' I need, not a resistor. It's the part that varies the fan speed in the heater box. Is that the relay?

The part that the wires plug into on the side of the heater box is the resistor.

I called team grand and they said the 83+ resistor will not work.

Any reasons why? Can I tweak it to work? Anyone know where I can get one?

Im not sure on your year application, but if you take your old resistor out, there may be a thermal fuse on it. If you just replace the thermal fuse with one from Radio Shack with some wire crimps, it will usually fix it. Plus the fuse is only like 2 bucks
