not that I know of. BUT... there is the www.cfsjc.com if you're interested. I'm only an hour south of you; and I'm a minimum of 2 hours from anybody else in the cfsjc.

IDK of a FSJ only club here in VA... but that doesnt mean we cant act like one. I am a member of Virginia Krawlers and NOVA Jeepers, but im in northern va. You have Military, Beltway, Nova, and various other jeep clubs.

I am ALWAYS down at the beach, its only a 4 hr ride. Shoot me your info and we can get together next time i come down.

Casey

I'm in VA too (Northern). I've been a member of Off Camber Crawlers (mostly a Jeep club but not exclusively) for years but recently let that lapse.

There is some great wheeling out in Gore Virginia at Big Dogs Events 4 times a year:

I know a lot of the Jeepers around here are either part of Tidewater 4x4 or The NCBBA. The NCBBA is really just to keep beach access open on the outer banks, but it's worth the dues just to help out(OBPA is good for that too). The other one I was a member of way back, but it had all the typical BS issues of most clubs and I dropped out. NOVA Jeepers is pretty good, or so I'm told. I've been noticing more and more FSJ'ers in the area and had thought about trying to get a meet-n-greet set up, but I don't ever follow through.

I'm in VA Beach, feel free to message me. I've actually been meeting a few other folks in the VA Beach area a guy with an 87? Wag and another with I believe a 91 G-Wag. There's also another guy I've seen with a black-colored G-Wag similar to me I've seen driving around with a trailer, and Chumley. I've encouraged these folks to join here for good info. (sans the guy I've seen driving, and Chumley, and Casey who're already members.) Feel free to shoot me a message!

I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of start-up, it might be fun!

does anyone know what it would take to start up a FSJ club here in Virginia or at least a gathering? from my experience networking with other people in a club tend to help out a lot in either building or restoring a vehicle. I'm in the Virginia Beach area if anyone might be interested in this

To quote Nike...just do it! Start an email list of members here and talk to folks you see with FSJs. Post up here with events such as meet and greets. Just pick a day and time and see if anyone shows up.

That's how most of the clubs around here started.

Date, time, place and post up about a week ahead of time so that people can arrange to be there. Jenro's is a good place to meet up or Dumar's. Anyone else been around the area long enough to remember when the classic cars all hung out at Dumar's, not Jenro's?
