cutting fender flares

Has anyonecut there stock fender flares to reshape them? I am just curious to see what others have done and aht it looks like.

I have cut the rear flares off and replaced them but did not try to reshape them.

I cut the flares on mine and followed body lines to still keep somewhat of a flare.

this is what it looks like now

When you say flares it usually means the flares like the wide-track Cherokees or J-trucks have. If you mean trimming the fenders on a Wagoneer, that's pretty common. Try a Google search.

Anyone know what the black round trim is called around the fuel filler cap in the pics above? And possibly where to find one?
