Jtruck spare tire carrier question
Does anyone know if the under frame carrier from a Wag/Chero will fit a Jtruck? I figured they may be different since the frame width is different in the back. I have 3 Jtrucks sitting here but none of them have factory carriers on them.
Thanks!

I don't think they will fit a J truck. The ones for the trucks went across the frame at an angle and are much longer than the ones on Wag/Cheros. But thats not to say they couldn't be made to fit.

The J Truck tire carrier are about 4" longer.
I will see if I can get a picture of the two.

I pulled the carrier off mine. I can measure it if you like.
If you want it, we can work something out.

Wagoneer carriers are the same as 1971 and older Gladiators, you might be able to make them work on the 72+ Trucks by adding the bracket to the 2nd to last cross member.

Glad you got one Jerry. I won't need one myself. I like to haul a projectile in the back of my Jtruck.

Wha? You talkin to ME?
I actually have something cooking for the back of the J20 so that the big jack and spare are secured. Gotta get it back on the road too.
