October Virginia area meet, eat, and greet.
Alright guys, its about that time again. Lets get together again this month for some food and FSJ talk. I was thinking about Saturday the 13th. That would be about a month since our last shin dig. What does everyone think?

There was one at Pete's...6 years ago. I might try to come down early and walk around the junkyard.

I already called Petes. He told me that he no longer has any Wagoneers in his yard. Unless he was just telling me that. I have had that happen before at other yards. When I showed up, guess what I found out in the yard!?

He used to have a few wagoneers and a J10 honcho. There's another place on 17 that used to have a few wagoneers/cherokees but they crushed most of them.

If there's anyone in the Richmond area, we could caravan down.
edit: BTW: I'm going to the state fair tomorrow, I'm thinking about driving the cherokee.

Haven't been on the forum in a while but I am in Richmond. Smurf, my 79 Chuef has been down for a couple of years with a blown TH400 but still have several Jeeps (Commando, Scrambler, M715). Where have you guys been meeting?

We met up in Newport News at a steak house last month. You should come and bring the Commando, or Scrambler!

I dont know Mike. There doesnt really seem to be any desire other than you and I. I thought we would have at least 6 FSJ'ers this month. The wife and I will most likely be over that direction already for a car show if you still want to meet up. It is Steves Steak House on Jefferson Blvd in Newport News.

Where's the car show? I might just wait until next time when there's more people.

Its not a huge show. Just a weekly cruise-in at the Hardees. I am not sure if they are even still doing it but there is usually a good turn out of some sweet cars. I think we should bag it for this week. Maybe if some people show more interest we could do it more towards the end of the month.

A few people showed up for the first one...then nothing. Schedules didn't line up.
