Ok My 72 J4000 build

Some of you have been telling make a build thread so i went out and took some pics and here we go.

This is my baby sitting in my drive




Got the motor ready for new Brackets and belt drive system


So i can install my new alt


Got all o fthe wires removed ready to go back in with everything new


Inside striped and ready to fix rust holes and rewire everything


thats where Im at just about to start buying and collecting new parts. My first goal is to get everything under the hood replaced and wired so we can start her up. Ill got the lifts and more as soon as i can move it around.

here is the rust hole in the drivers side floor. Rust goes up past the seem with the firewall. Notice the custom Dirty underwear i found in the cab!

Looks like a fun time! If I can make a suggestion, and get rid of the floor pedal. They tend to stick and I finally swapped mine for a later model after I almost blew up my engine.

And I'm still in for the wiring harness. I'll give you a call or shoot you a pm this week.

Trust me I plan on getting rid of it. It broke at some time and someone just bolted to the floor. Needless to say its a rust infection now

Someone was trying to get this thing going. I pulled the valve covers and found some new parts under both covers.
