Dang I miss the Jeep.....

I've been driving the new to me '00 Buick Park Ave back and forth to work for the past month, and it's really a great car. It's comfortable, gets 27 mpg, has a/c that actually works, but it's....well.....kinda dull...no personality......

Good news is that I cranked up the Wag wednesday and it started right up after sitting for a month. So I drove it into work that day......and the next.....and last night. It ran great!

HELP ME! I have a perfectly good newer car that won't bankrupt me with fuel costs but I want to drive the jeep....my wife is now threatening to commit me.

Just tell her you maybe using more gas but that you are safer in the jeep!
No threat of car jacking its higher off the ground and its made out of constantly rusting metal, but its still metal.

My family is thinking I'm a bit crazy too. Just tell her there is no known treatment for OJD. And for mileage, check this out. I haven't tried it yet but it makes a lot of sense and I will be doing it once I get home.

Good thread. I'm thinking going the 4 speed auto route eventually. Vortec would be nice too. Or maybe a diesel. So many options, so little money

Or maybe just ditch the Wag & get a J10 with a six and stick. I'm pretty much just using the Wag to haul stuff from Lowes now anyway.
