IIRC to get a better price than going to Hundy you gotta buy 'em in bulk yourself.

Do you know if you have to buy "x" amount? And do you know who or what department to contact to.go.about getting them? I only need a few like I said but if I had to buy more im sure they would move fairly easy...just that initial investment...

On a side note do you work nights too? Seems like you always answer my late night questions first. That or you have a serious addiction.....

Have you seen my sig line? lol That and the fact that I'm off work due to injury.

It can take a bit to find a source, but you have to be ready to make a serious buy. Can you say pallets of 'em? Its the same buying other military surplus like CUCV 1 Ton axles and other components. They dont play with onesie twosies. Being on the left coast I'd do it if I had the space only because I'd like to help out my fellow jeepers.

Yeah I kinda guessed by your sig(after I posted lol)

So it looks like im not gonna get any discount any time soon, just need to suck it up and pay up. Doubt I could afford pallets of them, I got the space and if enough people would go in I would love to help out my fellow fsjers, im afraid to know what it would cost....

Some have attempted "group buys" but it takes a bunch of work to put it together and then implement it. It can be done, its just not simple.

You can buy them at military auctions but they normally are sold in big bulk like 100+

100dollarman is prolly ur best bet unless u want to but a lot of them

P.S.- I know all about the graveyard shift 3rd shifter for 3 years now.

Yeah would be nice to make a little extra on the side, at least enough to fund my own tires but don't have the capitol for it....

Night shift here at la-z-boy ain't bad, 4-2:30 and im an electrican/maintenance so really only work about half of it(other half is spent on here )

Sexton tire Atlanta Ga 770 466 1060
I have bought hummer tires from them in the past for $100 bucks a piece with 90% tread. I have bought 3 sets with no problems.
If I remember right they sold all types of military tires at the time.

Been to the yard, nice folks to deal with.
Got to be a bit pricey to ship a full set on rims but they seem to palletize quite a few sets.

I bought a set for my 1980 Sno commander dodge truck.

found them on Pirate off road web sight.

Under the tire section.

They were someplace out west, and it cost me $440 to ship them here to pa.

I think they were $85 each.

that was last year..

They work well on the big truck, kinda wanders, gotta get some stearing stabalizers.

usually looking at 600 for a set shipped. That's including the typical 50 dollar dock fee most truck companies charge the poor guy picking them up for the 3 mins it took them to unload with a forklift.

When they shipped mine it was to where I work, so we have a loading dock. or I could have picked them up at a place about 40 miles from me. they would not deliver to my house.
