5/19/11 Pick A Part Ontario, CA 71 J-Truck late 80's Wagoneer

Finally made it back out to a wrecking yard today. Only hit the Ontario, CA pick-a-part, but they had 2 FSJs

1971 J-Truck

Engine was pulled, no tailgate, interior mostly shot. Steering column and wheel still there. Looks like it had a set of headers on the engine which are still there. Look to be from a V8, but not sure which one. 5 lug wheels/axels

Late 80's Wagoneer

Body is straight and all doors/glass seem in good shape. Grille is ok. The chrome along the top is all bubbled and peeling, but from 10 ft back it looks great. Had a set of four wheels in great shape.

More pics of both Jeeps here

I was going to swap it into my 79, but now may go into the 75. May end up not using it at all. Those were some parts I pulled from a 62 a few months ago.

Let me know if you decide to let it go.

jeez that wagoneer is in good shape! That does not belong in a pick a part.

I would say the 75-80% of the ones I find at the yards don't belong there. I am guessing people cannot get them to pass smog and you cannot sell in California without it passing smog. Darn shame.
