To the drunk that stole my truck...
For any that haven't herd my j 4000 was quietly sitting along the side of the road (because it overheated again) and some drunk guy tried using it to get home. amazing his key works in my locks, and he managed to drive it all of a block and crash into a roundabout island in North Bend. Now the engine is fried and I had to pay the 460.24 towing bill. Least i got it back. And am saving for that all important cummins conversion.
Moral of the story, don't drive my jeep while drunk.

Dude, I am sorry to hear that. I have had a couple vehicles that ended up sitting on the side of the road that I wished someone would have stolen.
Glad you got it back. Start working on that conversion.

Ya. He jammed the truck on top of a low wall on the island, pushing the crank further into the engine and halting all forward progress. the idiot was trying to start it still. wish i was there to take pics.

almost none. it just scratched the underside of my stock bumper and then hit the vibration dampener which cracked the block and probably did some fun stuff to all the main bearings.

Isn't there only the "one" roundabout in N Bend? Right there in the middle of the town between the freeway exit and on ramps? The busiest intersection in the whole town? That is outright nuts!
I'll be watching for the build thread too!
