230 Tornado Intake Gasket
Anybody know of a source for these?
My local NAPA found them in the book, but nothing on the computer showing it available.

Did you try Willys America? They've got some pretty rare parts in their inventory as well as a line on many suppliers.

If it's the same as the M715 gasket, you might ask for advice on the M715 zone.
The M715 gasket is pictured here: http://m715zone.com/vb/showthread.php?p=111012
If you can't find one, you might follow that thread and PM one of the thread responders that said he had some.
You might be successful with a home-made gasket for that application.

There is a guy selling a bunch of 230 gaskets on ebay. Last I looked he had valve cover gaskets up. I just bought 2 valve cover and 1 intake gasket from him. He had more then one intake at the time.

That's where I found the one I bought.
I'd thought of using gasket material and making one tgreese, but then reconsidered. The idea of the water jacket blowing through thing.

If you have a pattern just get a roll of gasket material from that NAPA. It will be fine. The intake gasket on these things aren't anything special.
Just tell NAPA what your using it for and they will get you the right stuff.

So I take it they're not a metal stamping clad in some kind of self sealing gasket material?
I've got gasket material out the wazoo. Cork, several weights of paper and a couple types of rubber.

Nope, just a regular rubber-fiber paper type of gasket. Anything rated for fuel and coolant should work.
I wouldn't use cork though.
