the picture of the dropped front axle gave me the inspiration to do it like this







here is a sectional drawing of the shaft
The holes are drilled for weight savings
X is the same size as the original size

It is absolutely no problem for a wagy with airbags
the beauty of this approach is that everything else remains original
such as steering angle, and you hold the original leaf spring distance
