I think what you are looking for is the upper anchor mounting. The upper mount structure is hidden behind the inner panel inside the B-pillar.

Just what I was gonna say. If you have any trim on the rear pillars remove it and you may find a threaded hole. My '69 International truck has these holes.

hmmm....that would be pretty cool. I would hate to hack up the pillar, but a measurement from the floor to the place where the threaded hole should be might lead me in the right direction.

They are yours if you want 'em when the swap is complete. Hopefully it won't be too much of a PITA.

I put shoulder belts in my 71 J4000 when I competitive mud bogged it.
Here is how, the lower pocket is open, so I welded a nut on back of a flat bar, drilled a hole in the upper panel and slid the bar up and maneuvered it around until it lined up. Then I shot a couple self drillers in the lower part of the bar to keep it quiet.
It was a royal pain, but you only have to do 2, it would save cutting and welding, and the bar acts as a nice double plate too.

If you want this belt to actually do something rather that just look pretty you should consider the size of the nut plate that you install. I'm not sure what the structure looks like in a J truck but I would probably make a plate as large as I could reasonably fit in that area. Standard thread size for foregin and domestic seat belt anchors is 7/16-20. If you like, I can give the two reference measurements you will need to locate the hole.
