Sua u-bolt question

Ok so on one side of my d44 Cherokee axle the spring mount is kinda built i'n to the pumpkin casting, and when you put the spring on the top a traditional u-bolt won't work because it's flat where the spring used to be on the bottom. So how are you guys overcoming this? and a picture is always worth a thousand words. Thanks.

I'm going to take a guess that you are doing an SOA with a FSJ front D44?
If I'm correct you need to do a lttle grinding to make a U-Bolt fit.
