someone with a later TSM.....hinge Q.
what is the correct placement of the door hinge friction pucks? looks like i've seen bottom placement on both hinges, and top and bottom placement on one hinge. or it's top and bottom on both and some are missing.
putting full swing hinges in the '83,want the doors to quit swinging closed on me.

Mike, I've got an 80 TSM here. Close enough or no?

I think my FSM is 84-87. Wouldn't know where to look for you though.
edit: just realized you need '83 anyway.

I doubt it matters...I've seen them installed both ways.
Unlikely anyone ever touched them on the Jeeps I've owned, so probably whoever was on the line that day kind of a thing.
'82 TSM is on oljeep.com is it helps?

fyi,Baybilly and I determined it's a puck top and bottom on both hinges per side, and works perfectly like so.
