What did you replace the back carpet of your wag with?

I was thinking about taking out the carpet in the wag and using some thick rubber or even some of those cheap gym floor puzzle piece mats as a liner so I can easily remove it and access my tank/sending unit. Anybody do this or something similar? I figure the puzzle pieces will provide some decent insulation.

Going to Monstaliner mine. I do not have the access port to the top of the fuel tank, so I will cut that myself before I line it. And of course line it afterward and in separate pieces so as not to "lock" myself out of my own mod.

Noise isn't an issue, only because there is already so much of it... trying to use sound deadening items would be a waste of time in my situation.

Took mine out, and left the rubber mat that was under the carpet.

I pulled the carpet to look today and it looks like I'll be fabricating an access hole as well. The rubber mat in mine actually looks great! Did you notice a noise difference when you pulled the carpet? My carpet is dry rotted on the tailgate end. I figure the puzzle floor will provide extra noise dampening and insulation, as well as a good base for car camping.
