HEY DIESELHEADS ~ CNG hybrid??
I read some bits and pieces about a diesel/CNG hybrid that isnt actually dual fuel but a fuel blending set up. IIRC the burn is 2 gallons of diesel to 8 gallons of CNG. This sounds like a pretty cool mod and aside from the cost, which doesnt seem like it'd take to long to recoop the investment, sounds like it'd be worthwhile and keep saving good money. Theres even a way to put a fuel station/fill pump off of your home gas line and you pay for it on your monthly statement just like you had used it for your stove, furnace, etc. saving even more money.
I'm looking for any real world knowledge on this mod as I have heard of other types of stuff like propane injection. Please feel free to drop some knowledge.

What's CNG? Im remotely familiar with LPG (a junk waste gas Liquified Petroleum Gas) aka propane or LNG(liquified natural gas) aka natural gas?

Check the links below for specifics. You can call LPG junk all ya like but it worked fine for me as a sole fuel source. Now I'm looking to see how CNG/LNG can work with diesel as I have begun to read about.

Not remotely the same. LNG is a dirty byproduct of gasoline refining and most countries burn it off at the refinery as the waste gas it is. LNG is a much cleaner natural gas that you actually have to drill for as a goal product. (note most wells in the gulf of mexico are gas wells. The gulf is a gas field not an oil field.
Yeah I've read LNG or LPG is the NOX magic instant additive bullet for dsl motors. You got enough money you can direct inject raw camel piss and get on paper improvements.
If your post concerns making a dsl cheap to justify with cheap squirts. just get a can of diesel additive for your gaso. That'll add a dsl motor to your rig won't it? says so n the can and as seen on the internet.
Sorry for being the smart arse that I can't help being but if you're serious and you're spending your own or mamma's money log off the internet and spend some face time with dsl rodders and see what works real time.

Yeah, I'd hafta agree you are being a smart arse and IF you cant help yourself please help yourself to not posting any more. Its not what I'm looking for.
BTW ... LPG is the by-product of refining not LNG.  As far as spending money goes it is MY money to do as I wish just like you do what you want with yours. Now about diesel rodders and camel piss ... what about what Diesel Power Mag says about the whole CNG kit ~~~> http://www.dieselpowermag.com/tech/0...kit/index.html+
And why do I have to have face time in order to achieve my goals? There are diesel rodders here on IFSJA so I fail to see the validity of your comment, but honestly this has gone far enough.
Anybody else have some knowledge to lend?

You really do need to learn the dif between LNG LPG and CNG.
Also I guess I was wrong you don't need real time with folks that actually build HiPo dsls in real life. The net, wiki and the the New York Times will cover everything you'll ever need/want to hear..

I need to learn the difference between LPG, LNG, and CNG. Interesting enough. I have plenty to learn. Kinda why I'm here. But ...
