My first J-20! Build thread.

This jeep may look familiar. I went up to trellis8's house last weekend and fell in love with the 77' J-20 he had sitting there. So during the week we did some talking and dealing and came up with a trade so its now in my driveway...

My plans for it are to fix it up and put my 401 into it with a t-18 that ive already located.. Gonna talk my brother into helping me with bodywork and hopefully we can shed some paint on it next summer.

Let me know if you guys need any help moving that truck around.

Between you and your brother that will be a very sweet J20 -- can't wait to see how it comes out.

I had a good parts buy today. I picked up the t-18 that i found for it. It came with the 401 flywheel i needed too. The guy told me he had some other parts he wanted to get rid of so he told me to take it with the price of the trans which i already figured i was getting a good deal on.....

He parted out a '77 j-10 quite a few years back and had no use for these parts. I got a mint razor grille, a nice glove glove box container, guage cluster that showed 78k miles which is whats on the t-18....., black sun visors, cab chrome, tail light housings and lenses, front turn signal housings and lenses, clutch fan, two air cleaner housings with 401 tags on them, and quite a few random other goodies.... . I like finding these deals.
