woody surround question
Ive got a question for the woody experts on the site. Ive posted a wanted for 1990 wood trim (surrounds not vinly) and someone on the forums offered me a full 1986 set? Will this fit a 1990? what was the year where it changed to full surround on the later wags from the top and bottom rails only? (i know this doesnt sound clear but hopefully someone will know what im getting at!) thanks Woody lovers.

I think it was a 1986 and a half thing, i.e. the later half of '86 got the newer style trim. May want to check on that.

I think it was 87 since mine is a late 86 and I only have top and bottom.

yeah- thanks guys thats what i thought - 86 / 87 could be the changeover year depending on what the parts bin had left! Dont want to spend fortune on shipping the older style over. shame as mine's great except where some muppet decided to fold it up / or could get it off easily? - so when the jeeps parked in the sun the whole wood set looks rippled- I think the moulding must have an inner metal frame/section that cant be straightened?

I was thinking just the Wagoneer Limited's were top and bottom, and all the Grand Wagoneers were framed, but Jeep has proved me wrong before.
