There was one on Ebay that was green. It went for like 40 bucks! I didnt want to buy it just to strip the paint off of it. I wont feel back taking this thing apart, its pretty beat up. This one was the Fire Chief addition. If you look close you can see the hole in the roof where the light once was. I will fill that in with some metal filler.

I love your Wagoneer- the real one! Post some more pics if you have them, also pics of the tonka when your done!! I have done 4 of them to look like my GW. I just took the roof off cleaned, repaint and some wood grain. Its a fun project. The next one I do, I want to cut half doors like I run in the summer. One has the chrome wheels, the rest are white, one has rust like a real FSJ, NO LEAKS though!!
PIC

Thanks man! I will post some pics up as soon as I finish my roof rack installation. Just waiting on a few pieces from Surco. Those Tonkas look freaking AWESOME! I dig the woodgrain on them too

I got the Jtruck and it's sitting on a remote control toy base with BIG tires (about equal to 52" in real life) but it's not done. One of the ton of things I plan to do this winter (including FINALLY assembling my stroker motor!)

Gas4blood- Thanks! the one thats missing the plastic 'glass' I let my 4 yr old play with on the beach, so its got sand all in it and rust on the edges...more authentic HAHA!
I love the way your rear tire rack leans in, mine is straight up, thats a winter project I plan on doing now that I have a welder, gonna be a pain to get just right I think

I know what you mean. When I first finished my tire rack it was straight up and down. It actually leaned a little bit out, drove me nuts!! So, I took a morning with the cut-off wheel and welder to correct the angles of the whole swing arm. I tried to mimmick the profile of the rear gate as much as possible. Here is a side shot of it after the modification. Made a huge Difference!
