Beginner questions
What are some common rust spots in the Grand Wagoneer? Its an 89 if that helps any.
I want to do a SOA conversion. How would I go about beating the extreme front drive shaft angle?
Thanks a TON guys!

Welcome from IL!
Watch for frame rust near the gas tank on the drivers side.

rear quarters, clean out the inside of your rear quarters. Many guys wrap the jack base in a towel and it usually starts the rust.

For a GW, you only have to worry about the metal parts... especially 'round here in the midwest.
Rear quarter, rockers. Watch your floorboards. My core supports are shot too. Even have some bad spots near the rivots in the fender woodgrain trim.
There's an enlightening thread from Ristow about a product called Rust Bullet, and their website is enticing. I hope to do some painting before the salt flies around here to protect what's left and slow what's already hurt until I can cut & weld.
