New FSJer (not me)
Today, a guy, slightly younger than myself, stopped by my house. He saw my parts truck in my yard and was asking about tires. Apparently, he just got himself a 66 gladiator and is working on getting it going. We talked a little about FSJs – well, more like I rambled on about FSJs (and I just now realised that I only half answered one of his questions). He says that when it’s going he’ll swing by and show it off. I told him about IFSJA, of course. I guess we'll see if he shows up.
In addition, I believe that his dropping by was enough to get me fired up about my dormant project. I get my first paycheck from my new job next week, but after not working for a few months I have some bills to catch up with  (hopefully I can set some aside for the big jeep…).
