Welcome to the board from the east coast!!. I hope you know what you are getting yourself into..... these rigs are addictive and infectious. Once you get one the madness starts and after a period time working on and fixing one you will find that you have the urge to always do something to it to repair it, improve it or make it better. Then afterward you find that you need another one. (most of us have no idea why).
As for women on the site there are a few of them lurking around and some members wives/girlfriends have also joined. They may not all be present at once or visible on a first glance but after a few post or checking through a few threads that you are interested in, you will encounter them.

One of the most active female members Janie is a fellow Texan to you...
My wife has not felt the need to join, but gets it as she had a 78 Cherokee as her first car.
Welcome from MN.

I'm here too. My husband is building the waggy for me basically and I help where I can.. usually sourcing parts, cleaning up, painting and bringing drinks & food. I know enough to be dangerous...lol!

Welcome from a born and bred Texan currently misplaced in California! Unfortunately I have to go where the Marine Corps tells me for the most part.

I don't have a picture of me in the Wag, but here I am helping to take the tailgate off the Rambler. I'm the one with the braid.

The whole reason I got into FSJs is because of my better half. She's always one to throw down and help out.
Also, she wanted the Cherokee more than I did since she's already had a Wag and a J20.

Yep; I'm here too.
I try to get a little more done every day; since I don't have a whole lot of mechanical skill; but for that, I have my boyfriend. I usually do the posting, he helps me figure out what is going on under the hood. But we're both still new to FSJ's.
We're actually selling our C10 Panel truck to fund our other two projects (Levi, and Max). Not to mention, he's looking at getting a Waggy to complete the FSJ line-up. lol
