Celebrity Owned Wagoneers
The Red Skelton thread got me to thinking of other "celebrities"
that have owned Full Size Jeeps.
Here's a few that I know of:
Red Skelton
Danny Thomas
Alan Jackson
Hank Williams Jr.
Arnold Schwartzenegger
That's just the ones off the top of my head.
Know of any others?

I believe the actor/politician Fred Thompson owned a Waggy at one point.

Don't know if it falls in "celebrity" status - but Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi drove one up until a few years ago.

Jack Nicklaus owns/owned one... I've driven that one, it was gold and kept at his house at the Country Club of the Rockies in Edwards, CO. Don't know what year it was but this was back in 1989.

Taken from an article in Four Wheeler:
Celebs have also gone shopping at Wagonmaster. Current or past customers include NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart, actors Mykelti Williamson ("Bubba" in Forrest Gump) and Michelle Williams, as well as country crooner Alan Jackson. Wagonmaster rigs have also gone to movers and shakers in the business world. If you get run over in the Microsoft parking lot, the odds are good it will be one of Miller's Wagoneers. Goldman Sachs financier John W. Rodgers also tools around in one. Nantucket Island is ready to sink under the weight of those big ol' Jeeps and the gentrified Connecticut countryside is crawling with them.

When I bought my 87 Wag the owner said it was first purchased in Chicago by a Chicago Bears player but I can't remember his name.

my j10 used to be james brolin's...
he won it in a desert race with some other actors... check out what i found back on M/T website...
"By 1978 Mickey had organised major sponsors to support off-road racing. He then talked a big number of celebrities into racing identically prepared Jeeps around the off-road desert course he'd built at Riverside International Raceway.
The celebrities included Clint Walker, James Garner, Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Brolin, Martin Milner, Ruth Buzzi, Redd Foxx, Troy Donahue, Dan Haggerty, Richard Roundtree, Ken McCord and boxing champions Ken Norton, Dick Smothers and Elke Sommers.
This new dimension in off-road racing was called the American Motors/Jeep All-Star Challenge. The fans went beserk and the stars loved every minute. Mickey's group SCORE (Short Course Off Road Events) grew in size and the events got bigger and better."
