Mine is missing, what is its purpose and what is it called, I do have some electrical issues I'm in the process of working out, So knowing what this is for and what its called would help out alot.
Its is for the 84 G/W.

It's the same unit as for GM trucks, just with different chimes.

Wow! So that's what that was. I found pieces of it all over the cab. I guess the P.O. broke it, probably on purpose. Maybe it wouldn't shut off...

The only white thing I've seen under my dash near the fuse panel is the horn relay.

So is there really a chime or key buzzer? I noticed all my vehicles have a spare plug under the dash for something. PO's ripped them out?

For our Jeeps and GM trucks, it was a rather large square module with I believe 7 prongs. Early Jeeps had white ones, later ones were blue, and all the ones I've seen in GM vehicles were black. I tried the buzzer out of my dad's '95 Chevy in my Wag and it worked fine, just had a different tune. BTW: both annoying
