Keep an eye out! GW road trip WA to PA and back
I stalked a spinnaker blue GW through cortez today and cornered him at the local walmart.
It was a BEAUTIFUL GW so I had to stop and say HI! John is on a road trip from Washington to Pennsylvania and back! His Gdub is new to him and he hasn't found this forum yet, but I told him to stop by. Also told him to post his itinerary so we can be a resource for him if he has any problems.
His wag is stock with 80,000 miles on it! No rust, engine looks beautiful, and pretty pretty spinnaker blue! John was well prepared for the trip. He has a pod on top, towing a trailer and the back of the wag is FULL of parts! The trip from WA has been uneventful with the exception of some minor fuel delivery issues under load uphill. He has an electric fuel pump that he may install and is aware of vapor lock issues. Super duper nice dude too! He wasn't sure which route he's taking so just keep an eye out for him and wave if you see him on the road or stop and say hi if you stalk him through town like I did!
Sorry guys - no pix. I forgot to take my phone with me to town today.

Spinnaker Blue - my fav! There seem to be a lot more of them on the road than I originally thought. Cool that you talked to him!

Where in PA?
Maybe the coal fields of the northeast? I'll be on the lookout...

Fine, I give up.
I'll paint it (maybe I'll tile it).

LOL! She stalked him in a Subaru! " what does she want!?" We see at least 3 or 4 cross country FSJs come through the area every summer. (besides the folks that we wheel with on Ouray or Moab Invasions) I love cross country adventure in a FSJ.
