Another successful Jeep roadtrip
Loaded up the boys and the '63 Gladiator for a trip to Indiana early Saturday morning. We got to The Pig Smith's house about 12:00 and dropped it off where it will eventually make its way to Jeepbountyhunter (or maybe not, huh Bryan ). Then we headed North to Detroit to hook up with my new Friend Greg Taylor to pick up my new sparkly black wheels (hopefully I'll get 'em mounted and post pics later this week). Had a tough time dragging the boys (and me for that matter) out of there. Greg is a great guy with a really nice shop for his new obsession, powder coating. Very smart guy who does super work! Thanks Greg! Then, we headed east and stopped somewhere along I94, no idea where, and caught a really nice little car show. The boys had a ball, but no Jeeps. Finally, we stopped in Chicago to hook up with Highspdlife0224 to drop off some doors for his J10 project. Very nice kid. How about that traffic?! Then home where I missed hooking up with JeepJerry who picked up his new mud tires and wheels. Hey Jerry, my wife says you didn't give her the money! Jeez, Jerry, you gave it to my wife? Just kidding, thanks Bro! The weekend went by super quick, but we had a ball. Thanks gentlemen!

Brett, I'm glad you had fun while getting that Jeep down to Fort Wayne. Thanks again for doing it. I can't hardly wait to see it in person.
Janie, thanks...couldn't stay away for some reason...dang addiction!

Hey Mike, I can't wait forever for you to build a big ramp for one of those semis! I really was hoping to catch the Ford and Chrysler museums this trip, but just couldn't work it out. That's okay, just means I have to make another roadtrip to have my front bumper powder coated stardust, as well as my valve covers, air cleaner, intake...... I've been promised Greg can do it all while I wait! (or go to museums and let him do all the work!)

Hey Bryan, yeah I feel the same. Looks like you have a great Jeep partner there. Gotta hook up next trip, Nathan and my oldest Tucker would make a great team!

One of the curators for the Chrysler museum is a family friend, if you do decide to go be sure to shoot me a PM so I can set you up with a private guided tour, and if you're interested a tour of the whole campus as well (stuff very few non-employees get to see!)

Hey Brett,
I see that you guys made it back from MI OK yesterday. It was super cool meeting you yesterday finally, and Kira and the boys had a blast in the back yard (cool pic of them up on the tree house ... I'll have to save that one)!
Next time you're back in town, we'll have to hang out longer ... that is ... if I'm not powdercoating stuff for you like a mad man! JK ... looking foward to hanging out some more.

egoods ... who's your cousin? Quite a few guys from our MI AMC club ( www.greatlakesamc.org ) work at Chrysler Hdqtrs and we usually have our Dec. club meeting at the Museum.
Brent, looking forward to you coming out again. Also looking forward to seeing pics of those wheels on your Jeep!
