Rattle can

I scored a rust free front fender with woodgrain that matches my 87 GW!

My GW is beige/yellowish color, I believe AB code. For the time being I am going to rattle can spray the fender and mount it. A while back I saw some threads about where to get spray cans...but a search today didn't result in anything....sooooo anybody got a place to buy a 12oz can? I noticed some say that their paint is "base" and requires a clear coat...I was hoping just to find an "all in one" can with the AB code. Any recommendations/links would be appreciated. Thanks!

BTW, coming up on a year with my GW. This is what I've done: reman carb, most vac hoses, convert A/C, hi pressure a/c hose, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, calipers, wheel cylinders, front brake hoses, radio, master cyl, brake line from prop valve back, driver side exh. manifold bolts....did all except last two. 56k on the clock, runs well...hope I now haven't jinxed things! This site has been invaluable to me...thanks to all. Oh..where is the pvc valve?

My local Pep Boys has a huge selection of spray paint. I've had good luck finding a match every time I've tried.

If you prep carefully, paint in the shade, and follow the instructions you should get a very good result. I've never used the rattle can clear. I have an arctic white GMC that is probably 75% rattle can and it looks great from 10 feet.

I saw paintscratch.com....says I need to order both a spray can of base coat AND a can of clear...seems a bit pricey.. shipping totals close to $50.

I had hoped to find a spray can that doesn't require a separate clear coat.
